Cost-effective solution for operations with load cells in simple industrial applications

 

MALVERN, PA, USA  |  25 February, 2020 – The BLH Nobel brand of Vishay Precision Group, Inc. The WIN5 works with load cells in weighing measurement systems and is designed for simple industrial applications. 

 

Developed for customers in need of a reliable, cost-effective, straightforward indicator solution, the WIN5 provides a high-contrast 6-digit LED display to show gross and net weight values of the measured mass. The WIN5 indicator is also equipped with operating pushbuttons that allow for tare weight and zero setting for empty vessels. 

 

The WIN5’s relay control outputs can adjust the level of measured signal and are controlled according to level value. The integrity of the weight value is guaranteed by automatic functioning inspection of the electronics, and watchdog monitoring. The indicator’s software allows the performance of two calibration methods: data sheet calibration or dead weight calibration. Moreover, the indicator is equipped with a digital input and an analog output for the connection of an external display.

 

Ideal for process industries such as Food & Beverage and Chemicals, the Win5 has a stainless steel enclosure that enables its use in harsh environments and with multivoltage power supplies (19-50VDC or 85-260VAC). The indicator can be used with all weigh modules provided from BLH Nobel and with strain gage load cells with up to 4 mV/V and a maximum of 4 load cells at 320 ohms.
