PROCESS WEIGHING – POWDERS AND GRANULES
Powder and granules will not necessarily settle inside tanks and vessels evenly and therefore weight will shift within the structure. BLH Nobel load cell modules will cater for large changes of weight applied to different legs of the structure.
The total net and gross weights are calculated by the summation of the load cells, having varying load on each leg still allows for accurate understanding amount of product in a vessel.
Process Weighing - Wet or Dry Products
Using load cell modules for powder and granule weighing ensures no internal contact with the product, as such, no contamination possibility. With large over range capability BLH Nobel high accuracy KIS-range of load cells used with our instrumentation can offer customers a greater accuracy with product that does not fall level within a vessel.
Powder Vessels and Weighing Systems
Like most powder applications, it is sometimes necessary to offer ATEX certified equipment to be used in such areas. BLH Nobel load cells and weigh modules are all manufactured through the same process, whether ATEX or not, and therefore easily offered with or without relevant certification making production more efficient for the benefit of our customers.
Materials used for load cell modules are designed for easy cleaning and high IP ratings to prevent ingress of dirt.
